Curso: «Competition Policy for Economic and Human Development” (U. Mackenzie)

El profesor Vicente Bagnoli me compartió una invitación para un curso que está organizando en el marco de los programas de derecho de la Universidad Mackenzie y que pinta muy bien.

El curso “Competition Policy for Economic and Human Development” comienza en línea el día 13 de agosto de 2021. Es un curso del Programa de Maestría y Doctorado en Derecho de la U. Mackenzie en la modalidad de matrícula libre, que permite a cualquier interesado, independientemente de estar matriculado en el Programa, tener la oportunidad de asistir. Las Universidades que se enumeran (a continuación) tienen un acuerdo de movilidad, que permite a los estudiantes de estas universidades tomar el curso que será completamente online sin cuotas mensuales. Universidades latinoamericanas en asociación con U. Mackenzie: Argentina – Universidad Nacional de Córdoba, Argentina – Universidad del Congreso, Chile – Universidad Diego Portales, Chile – Universidad Austral de Chile, Chile – Universidad de Concepción, y Colombia – Universidad de Caldas.


Competition Policy for Economic and Human Development

The «Competition Policy for Economic and Human Development” is a Doctorate and Master class at Mackenzie Presbyterian University, starting on August 13, 2021, which is also available for interested parties who do not belong to the Mackenzie student body.Competition policy is a powerful tool for bolstering efforts to reduce poverty and generate shared prosperity. Competitive markets work as drivers of economic growth and productivity and as conduits for consumer welfare with lower prices, better products and services, and innovation.

During 12 online classes, starting on August 13, until October 29 (Friday’s morning Brazilian Time), Professor Vicente Bagnoli will offer lectures delivered by invited renowned academics and authorities from around the world to present, explore and debate current issues of competition law and policy.

Some of the invited renowned academics and authorities which will share their knowledge and experience are: Guilherme de Aguiar Falco (The World Bank Group), Simonetta Vezzoso (University of Trento), Giovanni Napolitano (Director of Intellectual Property and Competition Policy at World Intellectual Property Organization – WIPO), Rupprecht Podszun (Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf and Max Planck Institute for Innovation and Competition), Juan David Gutiérrez R. (Rosario University – Bogota), Antonio Capobianco (OECD Competition Division), Sofia Pais (Portuguese Catholic University – Porto), Marco Botta (European University Institute and Max Planck Institute for Innovation and Competition), Ebru Gokce and Pilar Farjanes (Unctad – Competition and Consumer Policies Branch), and Thomas Cheng (professor at the University of Hong Kong).
